I'm from Jersey and have been craving an east coast bagel sandwich for the last 7 years. I've been to several bagel shops, only to leave disappointed. Today I found the one. This is one of the best breakfast sandwiches I have had.
I got the double trouble with sausage and bacon, eggs and cheddar along with jalapeno cream cheese on an everything bagel.
The bagel was the perfect balance between chewy and bready, the everything seasoning was a perfect blend and balance of salty and savory. The eggs were whole eggs fried up over hard, the bacon was thick and blackened crunchy, the sausage was just amazing as well.
The service was quick and friendly, and the guy at the counter made me feel so good about ordering from them. Super nice and respectful, as well as prompt.
I'm not a typical food reviewer, but I had to finish my food and leave a 5 star review for puddletown. Rivals the best NY and NJ bagel shops. OP

I ordered my Puddletown Bagels through Grubhub so I am unable to speak on the cart or the immediate freshness but what I received was a pure delight! The jalapeño cheese bagel had me contemplating buying a dozen bagels alone, the bacon, egg and pesto cream cheese (yes! Pesto green cheese) was such a delicious combo. The price was very reasonable and the mocha was great as well. I definitely plan on returning!

I was at Puddletown’s Café on Saturday the 11-16-24. We always try to go there when we’re in Portland. I have to say the bagels were gorgeous and delicious. I had a breakfast bagel, and even though I’ve eaten here before, I’m always surprised at the generous portion. But every painter needs the right canvas: the plain bagel I had was so nice that I bought some to take home with me. I serve them to some friends from New York, who wanted to know which New York bagel shop could deliver bagels so fresh to the West Coast! Keep up the good work, Puddletown. Whatever formula you had going on Saturday may be magic!
